Work Life Balance
Since before 1992, when legislation such as the Childcare and Family Care Leave Law were established in order to make it easy for female employees to return to work after birth and child care, Hitachi Information Systems has implemented various measures.
We have subsequently continued with our efforts in anticipation of legal revisions concerning childcare layoffs, childcare working and so on.
In respect of child care working, in 2006 a system whereby the period until a child “reaches the elementary school enrolment age” in the past, in special situations anyway, was extended to “at most until the third grade of elementary school is completed”.
We continue to strive to ensure that employees are able to make work and life compatible and fully demonstrate their abilities through enhancements that such a system brings.
