Promotion of the Human Resource Diversity
Hitachi Information Systems’ “Respect for Human Nature” is a publication based on the philosophy in our Corporate Code of Conduct that is designed to promote the building of workplaces where there is no discrimination based on age, gender, or the existence of any disabilities.
Female corporate officers (chief and engineer class, supervisor class, above general manager position) are steadily increasing, with 92 in 2004 and 97 in 2005. The number of the corporate officers in 2006 reached 107 for the first time, after women were assigned to posts equivalent to, or above, Division Manager in 2005.
