Hitachi Information Systems declares the “realization of an IT Professional Group Company” to be one of its management goals, and is working hard to acquire IT related qualifications across the whole company.
These include vendor certification that is directly linked to the business activities of our customers; we are in the top rank in Japan in terms of the number of SAP Consultant, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Oracle Master Gold.
Advanced technical capabilities maintained by an emphasis on continual skill improvement are the foundation of our IT professional services, which enables us to respond with the most appropriate solutions in meeting customer needs across a wide range of industries and business formats.
Moreover, in addition to IT engineers, we are working to develop the skills of marketing employees and professionals in other departments and, through the full application of information technology, we are strengthening our ability to make proposals to customers and promoting efficient management.
In order to foster professional sales abilities starting in the latter half of 2003, we instituted a high-level externally recognized certification system and deployed a program to assist in attaining the certification.
By 2005, the introduction of measures for those aiming for certification was completed; we achieved a 95% of acquisition rate by deploying support measures for qualification acquisition, targeting new employees on sales assignment and staff who were transferred to sales for FY2006.
